A Message From the Universe ~ Be a Good Friend
Today’s Message from the Universe reminds you that actions speak louder than words.
Whether you have one good friend in your life or many, today’s message advises you to recognize who has your back and cheers you on. Friends, coworkers, and family come in a wide variety of connection types but we’re speaking about those who stick with you through thick and thin. These are the people who can tell you when you’re doing something stupid and respect the boundaries you create for the health of your body, mind, and spirit. These are the people who deserve the same from you.
The message is quite clear here, do not bother trying to patch things up or retain these relationships with a bunch of words that have no action accompanying them. Even when you have the best of intentions, it is often best to keep them to yourself until you are sure you can make them happen. Even more important, do not just tell them what you think they want to hear. Of course, there are many occasions when you should tell them whatever makes them feel good and supported but ask yourself if this is one of those instances. Think less about how you make them feel in the moment and more about how your words and actions might affect this person or relationship in the long term.
Relationships of any kind have their ups and downs and there is no one-size-fits-all for any of us. Strengthen your bond by addressing the important issues that might be sensitive or even painful. Sometimes addressing these issues may make this person angry with you but, as in the case of addiction, you are choosing the well-being of this person or yourself over the momentary discomfort. It’s definitely not easy but it is necessary.
