A Message from the Universe ~ Creativity and Rest
Today’s Message from the Universe reminds you that breaks are necessary even when you are creating or doing things you love.
If you are a creative person, you may be going through a period where your ideas are coming in faster than you’re able to even write them down for later use.
At this time, you may be feeling stuck on a particular project. It might seem like it should have a simple solution but your brain has been in overdrive which complicates everything. Put it down and get some rest so you can come back to it feeling refreshed.
This is especially important for the creative who has a sleep “schedule” that doesn’t fit the norm. Of course, the world revolves around early birds so it can seem almost impossible to sleep and wake according to your body’s natural preferences.
It’s also important to note that your body and brain need more rest at some times than others, and even different kinds of rest. Try doing what your body needs as often as possible. If you’re up at 3 am, try creating instead of being upset that you can’t sleep. Feel like you need a nap? If you can, then you should. The more you try to live according to your own natural rhythms, the less exhausted you will be.
