A Message from the Universe ~ Falling in Love
Today’s Message from the Universe is about “Kissing the divine” in yourself or another.
I’ve had and used this deck frequently for about five or six years and I don’t think I’ve drawn this card more than a handful of times. This is not about obsession or codependency. It’s not about losing or changing who you are to fit what you think that other person wants. This is about pure and healthy love.
Some of you may be getting serious with another person but most of you are learning to love and commit to yourself right now even if you are in a relationship with someone else. Loving yourself doesn’t mean you don’t see your flaws. It means understanding that you are more than deserving of the kind of love and treatment you show to those you care about. It’s committing to set boundaries for how you allow others to treat you, and how you talk to yourself.
Your brain will believe what you tell it so change the narrative and keep at it! It took a long time to learn and accumulate these thoughts and behaviors so don’t get discouraged on the rough days. Caring for yourself is a skill that requires practice to learn and maintain. Just try to catch yourself when the discouraging thoughts rear their ugly heads and remind your brain that those thoughts aren’t true.
