Daily Card for 3/8/20 – Maeve

We have a tendency to allow our circumstances to dictate the direction of our lives.

We might move through our days lamenting the unfairness of life and wishing we had better luck. We might even have a positive outlook but remain enmeshed in patterns and situations that are less than ideal. Even our dreams and goals fall victim to the limitations our brains contrive due to our circumstances.

Stop.

It’s time to take responsibility for your life and circumstances. Of course things happen that are beyond our control but it is on us to find our best path through and beyond the difficulties that are handed to us. You are responsible for your healing, you are responsible for breaking your patterns, you are responsible for how you choose to play the cards that have been dealt to you.

Do yourself a favor. Imagine, in full detail, how your ideal life would look and feel. No boundaries or limitations, the sky is the limit! You may choose to imagine you are a famous singer even if you can’t carry a tune. The idea is to stretch the boundaries and limitations imposed by your brain. We find our best and most creative solutions when we forget the rules. This is why a lot of people solve problems while they’re sleeping, our unconscious minds don’t adhere to the rules of the waking world.

Now consider that some of those imaginings are not only possible, but more probable than you think. We don’t have to be a famous singer to understand it’s something we enjoy and doing the healthy things you enjoy will inevitably steer you into better pathways.

Open yourself to better, it’s not nearly as impossible as you think.
