Daily Card for 4/7/20 – Being in the Flow

Stop complaining about and trying to fight the things you have no control over. You have to accept “what is” in order to make the best of things and even make them work to your advantage.

Complaining will keep you locked into the negatives of the situation. Of course we all need to vent from time to time but a conscious effort should be made to make sure this doesn’t become or remain habitual. We miss so much of the things that make us smile when we steep ourselves in the negative.

Similarly, if you’re trying to fight or change something you have no control over, you are missing the opportunity to make it work for you or, at the least, find a work-around.

Accept what is and flow with it. Be open to the creative fixes and opportunities that are so much more visible when you stop focusing on the difficulty. Ride that wave!
