Growth – A Message for Collective
Growth is messy. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of growing that happens under the radar, but we’re not talking about the easy stuff.
This is about those big decisions that keep you up at night. It’s the maddening withdrawal from that habit (or person) you’ve finally decided to give up, and that feeling of utter stupidity when you try to navigate something new. It is the uncertainty that fills the space between what once was, and what will be. It’s pain, chaos, and fear that affects even the parts of your life that you think are unrelated.
Be patient with yourself and be patient with the process. I know, it’s easier said than done but knowing really is half the battle. It is in these “between” spaces that we find what it is we truly want and need. This is the place where we have the opportunity to choose the direction of our path and create our journey with intention. This is where we assess what is and isn’t working in our life, what needs tweaking and what isn’t worth the bother.
With a new moon this week, it’s the perfect time to make these assessments and set intentions for what you’d like to manifest in your life. You may even want to pause all the things you’ve been doing, and trying to do, so you can bring it back to the basics. Strengthen your foundation – remember your “why” and the “how” will follow. You will likely try a zillion ways to make things happen so there’s going to be a bunch of occurrences you might perceive as failure. Each “failure” gives you information to use in your next attempt and often shows you things you may not have even considered. “Failure” is probably the most important part of any process.
This is also a good time to remember that others, sometimes very beloved others, will absolutely have judgements and criticism… even if they’re kind or worried, they can only understand from their own perspective. You take care of you and those who matter will come around when they’re ready, the rest will fall away. If you give yourself what you need, you will have so much more to share with your loved ones.
Keep growing, you’ll pop up outta that soil and feel the sun before you know it 😉
