Here’s Your Sign ~ A Message for the Collective
They say that life begins outside your comfort zone. While this is generally the case, there are always exceptions and balance is key.
5 minutes a day…
That’s it, 5 minutes. It may be the difficulties that fuel our inspiration and innovation, but having a peaceful space and a time that you can call your own is necessary to build what you truly want and need.
You have a book that needs writing, music that needs to come out, a business that needs building. First, you need to be able to breathe and do something that makes you smile.
You can do anything you want in this time but it must be for you. A cup of coffee while everyone is still asleep, notepad and pen, and/or a pretty rock. Meditate, listen to music, whatever helps you be in the moment or create. Bonus points if you can do it outside.
Some days you may not be able to give yourself those 5 minutes, but you should make it a high priority. Once you start giving yourself those 5 minutes, they grow all by themselves. Before you know it, you have a ritual that helps you thrive instead of just surviving.
