New Moon Tarotscope, November 2021
New moons are the best time for setting your intentions, and this month’s new moon in Scorpio will have you doing a deep dive into your shadow self and difficult emotions. Fear not, this is an opportunity to identify and move past patterns and difficulties that hold you back.
This is a general reading so take what resonates and leave the rest. If you’d like a personal reading, you will find my links below 🙂
Your voice and your truth hide in the shadows. You may try to shove it down to keep it hidden or people may not understand even if you shout it from the rooftops. This is you. Your voice, your truth. There will always be people who do not understand but this is not for them. The ability to stand in your truth is the only way to fulfillment so be unapologetically you and your tribe will find you when they’re ready.
Do not be afraid of the dark. Everything in nature has periods of dark and light, growth and dormancy, contraction and expansion. You are no different. This is a time of rest and reflection for you so listen to your body and brain when it tells you to slow down or stop. There’s nothing wrong with you that’s making you tired, it’s just part of your natural cycles. Flow with it and your energy will be back up before you know it.
You may be trying to find an answer to an issue figuring out in which direction to take your next step. Your direction is clear but you don’t see it because you’ve let all sorts of unnecessary noise cloud the way. Get out your pen and paper then dump onto it all the thoughts cluttering your brain, even if they’re half formed or have nothing to do with the answers you seek. This allows your brain to recategorize the important stuff and let go of the fluff so your path becomes clear.
You are far braver than you give yourself credit for. Dig into and process those more difficult emotions that have been casting a shadow on your heart instead of trying to ignore them. Part of you may think that if you might never return if you dip into the darkness but you know better. Feel it so you can free yourself from it!
You may have been working and praying hard for that elusive something that will make you feel complete. You may also be starting to understand that all the things you’ve strived for don’t seem to add up to a drop in the bucket. You are whole, and you do not need to find yourself. Only be yourself in every moment because we can be different people from one day to the next. You may also find that giving to others without expecting something in return will help that bucket ro overflow in no time.
This is the perfect time to engage with your wild side. You may keep that wild part of you in a cage or you may let her roam unchecked to wreak havoc in the rest of your life. Use this moon’s energy to explore the healthy and unhealthy ways in which you relate to that part of you so you can let her roam free without causing chaos.
What’s the rush? While you’re grinding to get to whatever destination you’ve built up in your head, you are missing experiences that might make the journey a fulfilling one. You may even meet with opportunities that will lead you on a path far better than what you have imagined. Instead of stopping to smell the roses, stop and use all your senses to appreciate the whole garden.
You have put so much pressure on yourself to do and be what you think you should, maybe in an effort to escape what the kind of life that was handed to you. Pressure creates diamonds but it’s the same force that spews soda all over the place. The trick is not to shake the soda or to make sure you allow it time to settle. Strive for what you want in life but do not just keep hammering on yourself. Be compassionate with yourself and understand that the best of things take time and sustainable effort.
Now is a good time to examine the rigidity surrounding you. You may have set goals and set ways to realize those goals then feel like they crumble before you when things do not go as planned. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good and often necessary to plan your path but you must also allow for the unplanned and sometimes let it take you far away from what you imagined. Life is not about survival if the fittest, life favors those who are flexible enough to adapt to change.
You may have lived your entire life trying to swallow the fury that arises from being treated or seeing others being treated unfairly. Your silence is no longer sustainable and until you realize that you have a right to feel how you feel, you will continue to allow yourself to be tread upon. Anger is not a skeleton to be locked away, it’s there to inform you and to be used to inspire healthy change. Feel it, own it, use it.
You are a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves but you frequently forget your values when dealing with yourself. Take aim at those critical and abusive thoughts in your head. Call them out and replace them with all the things you try to give to others. Keep in mind, those voices may always be there but you don’t have to take them as truth.
You may have been dealing with feelings of powerlessness in your life. While it is important to accept and acknowledge the areas of your life for which you have no control, it is equally as important to identify and bolster the areas where you have the power to affect change. Spend this time identifying the places of power within and use that power to affect changes that help you navigate the situations you cannot control.
