A Message from the Universe – The Master Maker (reversed)

These are strange times my friends. Even if you’ve somehow managed to retain your pre-pandemic schedules and habits, chances are your energies are all over the place. Sleep and moods are being affected even when you don’t feel as if there is any reason for it. It’s no surprise this card came out standing on its head.

When the Master Maker comes out in its reversed position it indicates your work or craft is suffering due to lack of focus or skill. You may feel pressured to produce more in less time but you understand, even if your superiors, customers, or patients do not, that rushing through creates a breeding ground for error. Of course more errors means more work, at the least, and you are not a machine so it is important for you to pay special attention to prioritization and keep your cool when those around you do not.

If you’re working from home or your work is your home, you might be struggling to get things done because you lack the energy needed to focus or even get out of bed. We all need at least a little bit of routine so start small. Set your alarm for the same time every day and designate a notebook that will accompany your morning brew. Write down 3 things you are grateful for, log your dreams while they’re still fresh, or make a list of what needs doing for the day. You can even go back to bed after this but chances are you will find this to be a good way to expand into getting things done.

In any case, you need to be able to focus on your work despite the conditions around you. I can’t recommend meditation enough. There are a million ways to do it and just 5 minutes a day will be very helpful, though if you make it a habit, I guarantee it will become even more so. Do not be put off by thinking you have to clear your mind or other high expectations, as with anything, the more you practice the better you get.
