A Message from the Universe ~ Appease Your Inner Child!
Today’s Message from the Universe advises you to focus on bringing yourself, and your inner child, back into a state of balance.
Some of you have been all work and no play while others have been a little too protective of yourself or your resources. In either case, the advice is the same, balance is needed here.
It’s crazy busy for most of us right now, and much of it is unavoidable. However, we can make adjustments to our daily routines to help us stave off some that added stress. I provided a few helpful suggestions like brain-dumping and reprioritizing in one of these messages a couple of weeks ago, so I won’t go over them here but I will link that message below.
This message speaks directly to our playful and curious side that is all too easy to ignore when life becomes a list of responsibilities and obligations. When you do things like reprioritizing your tasks or reworking your schedule, it should not be done with the intention of adding more to your plate. Of course, we usually end up doing this because new or infrequent things pop up but we should always keep our well-being in mind.
Pick a day of the week to give your inner child a little extra love. It’s ok if you have to do adultish things at some point in the day, just make sure you find a way to fit the good stuff in and include others whenever possible! I highly recommend initiating of weekly date with you’re loved ones, here are a few ideas:
- Initiate a game night with family or friends.
- Create scavenger hunts, you can take turns creating them.
- Become a tourist where you live.
- Host your own “paint and sip’ where you and your crew paint glasses, flower pots, etc.
- Learn a new skill.
- Play video games against a real, live, person.
- Dance! Even better, learn a new type of dance!
- Use makeup to create glamorous or artistic looks.
Create, compete, move, laugh! Remember, the happier, healthier, and more balanced you are, the better the outcome for everything you do!
