Whether they be tears of frustration, grief, or joy, they are exactly what is needed today. Let them flow! There is no wrong way to feel about whatever you’re going through. Something great could be happening that leaves you grieving for what must be left behind or anxious about what’s to come.
You may have been grieving for a lost loved one and still very happy about other things that are happening in your life. We are capable of feeling a whole bunch of different things at the same time.
Lastly, some of you do everything you can to not let your kids see you cry, and I’m here to tell you that your kids need to know that you are human and that every human cries. This will help them to move through their own stuff in life without stuffing down the “bad” feelings.
