A Message from the Universe ~ Let it Out!
Today’s Message from the Universe invites you to put those seemingly “bad” feelings to work!
There are no truly bad feelings, even the most difficult ones serve their purpose. Anger reminds us that we, and others, deserve to be treated with care, fear warns us to pay attention to the possible consequences of our decisions, and grief reminds us of our capacity to love and feel joy!
We might certainly be overly anxious or catastrophizing, but that’s more of a side effect. That is a reaction to injustice, fearing the unknown, or dwelling a little too long in our darkness. Sometimes these reactions seem to be built-in. Any of these reactions may manifest themselves in an extremely physical way or seem
impossible to not to think about and dwell upon but that doesn’t mean they have to stay that way!
I write a lot about creating and using coping tools to get us through these difficult thoughts and feelings, not because I read about them but because I had to build them for myself. I was suicidal for much of my life, beginning with puberty. I used to wake up at 5 am with anxiety so bad that I vomited for hours before I had to leave for work. I even had one of those anxious days recently, though it was not as extreme as it once was. There was even a point in my life where I had to text my neighbor to come over because I couldn’t even walk out my door but needed to get cat food.
With the onset of autumn for those of us in the northern hemisphere and the coming holidays, now is a good time to tighten up your own coping mechanisms. Establish a relationship with a professional if needed, get in some quality time with a good friend, and/or list all the things that help to lift you up when you’re feeling down. Remember that the things that help you get through can change often so don’t give up if something doesn’t seem to work anymore, change it up!
As far as your current energy is concerned, don’t curl up and wait for it to go away! Channel it into creating something or doing some physical (and maybe fun!) activity to help disperse the worst of it. You could even intentionally pour all that energy towards what you’re trying to manifest in your life. Push it out into the universe with a primal scream or an atomic-force blast from your heart chakra!
