Pile 1 – Silk Agate

Change is the only constant in our lives, and the changes you initiate with intention are the most powerful. Diving into personal development isn’t so much about always trying to create a better you, it’s about understanding yourself, your challenges, strengths, desires, hopes, and fears to get the most out of your time on this planet.
A person who knows themselves is not so easily swayed by outside forces or wounded by careless words. Knowing your “weaknesses” is how you find ways to work with or around them, and knowing your strengths allows you to build upon them. What you want out of life and how you move through it will likely change many times throughout the years.
Use the energy of this full moon to check in with yourself. Are you still doing things to support a version of you that is no longer aligned with who you are now? Maybe there are unhealthy patterns you finally have the tools to change, or coping mechanisms that are no longer helpful.
Ask yourself what you want from life at this time, and write down the steps you will take to get there. Keep perfectionism at bay by remembering that it’s perfectly natural to make adjustments as you progress. Your plans will be more of a guideline than a blueprint.
Pile 2 – Moonstone

Self-doubt is a perfectly natural part of being a human, especially when it comes to what’s important to us. We can’t let it sway our actions, though. There will always be people who don’t understand or agree with what you do. Even those who love you to pieces may try to keep you from doing the thing, not because it’s a bad idea, but because of their own fears or misguided conceptions.
Just because you think something doesn’t mean it’s true. It’s time to learn to observe these kinds of thoughts and let them pass, rather than allowing them to run the show! Sometimes, simple logic can dispel that untruth, and sometimes it needs you to get a little creative with ways to trick your brain into thinking differently.
What truly matters is your conviction, make a decision to do the thing, and stick to it! It’s your commitment that will carry you through times of doubt and fear. Don’t worry so much about making mistakes because mistakes are a vital and informative part of any process.
Use the energy of this full moon to come up with a game plan to counter those fear-based thoughts. You might come up with a list of factual items that counter the doubt, or you might try something like affirmations. Affirmations, by the way, aren’t just some woo-woo thing; they have been scientifically proven to rewire the pathways in your brain, so give them a try and plenty of time to show results 🙂
Pile 3 – Black Agate

You are being advised to learn how to listen to your intuition. Intuition is not going to be found in the chaos of your conflicting thoughts or the hammering of your heart when anxiety is high. It’s something much softer than that, though it can easily manifest as anxiety and panic attacks if ignored long enough.
Intuition is a subtle knowing, sometimes just a tiny nudge into a particular direction. We often find it to be in sharp contrast to what our logical brain concludes, like when everything seems fine, but you feel uncomfortable anyway. It’s thinking that you should move in a particular direction, but feeling pulled the other way.
We often try to find proof, some kind of solid evidence to support our intuition, but that usually doesn’t come until later, if ever. You don’t owe anybody an explanation, not even yourself. “It doesn’t feel right” is all the information you need, and “I don’t want to” is reason enough.
Use the energy of this full moon to commit to listening to that inner voice and intentionally connecting with it on a regular basis. Meditation is the best way to connect to your intuition, so start playing around with different types of meditation and look for the best time of day to create a habit of meditating if you haven’t already.
It will be helpful to attach this new habit to something you already do every day and make sure you have realistic expectations. Meditation is something you get better at by practicing, so don’t think you have to turn your brain off or some such thing; that will come in time. Don’t try to make yourself do it for more than a few minutes either, your time will naturally increase with practice as well.
Pile 4 – Jade

It seems to me as if you are at a sort of crossroads in your life, but it’s not necessarily about some big decision or cataclysm in your external world. While the tower can indicate upheaval in your life, its biggest trait is a big change in your beliefs and/or how you see yourself and the world in connection to yourself. I believe this change, for you, is learning to keep your overthinking tendencies at bay.
Overthinking only serves to complicate everything, and you’re finally starting to realize it. Yes, we need to think things through and weigh our information in a logical way, but we need to realize when we’re just spinning our wheels. Learning to simplify things will be extremely helpful to you right now.
One of my favorite tools for dealing with an overactive mind is called a “brain dump.” Essentially, you write down all the things that are bouncing around in your head, no matter how small or random. Getting them on paper automatically helps you to process them differently and helps you release the thoughts that are unnecessary.
Once you’ve got things down on paper, you can see what needs culling and what needs a little more fleshing out. You can add steps to the big stuff, simplify the complicated, eek out due dates, and place things on the “back burner” as needed. Just tidying this stuff up will bring relief, and doing this on a regular basis will go a long way in keeping your thoughts from spiraling so much.
