Today’s Message From the Universe is all about new timelines and a reminder that anxiety and excitement are two sides of the same coin.
New Timelines
We talked a little bit about this in last week’s message. Ok, well, I called it planting seeds, new beginnings, etc., but “new timelines” fits just the same, and that’s what the kids are calling it these days!
While you hold the brush that is painting your new life, you are co-creating with the Universe – I say this because it’s important for you to know that you are not alone in this. Things were happening for you even when you felt stuck or like everything was falling apart.
Smoother sailing lies ahead, as depicted in the center card. However, just because the water is less choppy doesn’t mean there will be no uncertainty or challenges. This is life, after all, not a fairy tale. We can fear the next turn of the wheel, or we can look forward to it with curiosity and excitement
From Anxiety to Excitement
I also deal with anxiety and know just how crippling it can be. I also know that the more you give in to it, the bigger and more widespread it becomes. Meds can be good, life-savers sometimes, but they usually feed the demon in their own subtle ways that you don’t know until you’re already drowning.
There are many different tools you can use to manage your anxiety. Here is an article from the Mayo Clinic with a bunch of them. Today, we’re going to talk about reframing that anxiety as excitement, though. Why? Because feeling and emotion are power that can be channeled into creation and manifestation.
The helpful and calming tools don’t always work, and that’s ok! Numb and calm have their function, but so does that overwhelming energy, so let’s channel it! Channel it into your creations and manifestations, but also, recognize it for what it is – excitement!
Screwing With Your Head
Excitement can be defined in many different ways, but it’s really just an extreme emotional response in this context. Our brains and bodies don’t necessarily know the difference between a happy excitement and a fearful one – it’s the narrative in our brains that makes this determination.
These are the stories we tell ourselves.
You can tell yourself about all the scary things that lie on the dark path ahead; all about the evil people who are waiting to take advantage of you, and the bad luck that follows you everywhere.

You can get curious! Tell yourself about the beautiful and interesting possibilities that lie ahead! All the kind people out there, just like you, making their way in the world and making it up as they go along. All the things you haven’t tried and amazing things you don’t even know exist yet!
This is the kind of choice that cultivates a life of joy. It’s a choice that gets easier, and somehow creates exponentially more opportunity every time you make it. This is what a life well-lived is made of 💙
