Today’s Message From the Universe is advising you to lighten your load a bit!
We have now entered the second half of the year, which is the perfect time for checking in with your workload, processes, and all that. This includes personal habits and goals as well.
What were your goals at the beginning of the year or the last quarter? What is and isn’t working for you? What are you struggling with? What is going well for you? Are there any recent inspirations you haven’t acted on yet? Are you carrying some things that aren’t your responsibility to carry?
Don’t wait to find the time to do this; you have to make time for it. Don’t just pass it off as a hassle or another thing on your ever-growing to-do list; prioritize it! The time it takes for you to do this will be well-spent, and your future self will thank you!! Schedule this time like you would schedule a doctor’s appointment.
The goal here is to eliminate any unnecessary tasks and commitments. This will help you focus better, establish or reestablish a good flow, and lighten that heavy load you’ve been carrying.
If you’ve been taking on too much of someone else’s stuff, you may not be helping them like you think you are. They may need to learn some things on their own, even if they’re not happy about it. They might even get angry with you – let them be angry!
This also applies to those of you who have children or teenagers at home. You may be doing more for them than you should, or allowing them to step all over you. It may be easier to let it be than it is to suffer their tantrums, but boundaries and responsibility are necessary for both of you.
It doesn’t matter what age they are; if they can walk, there are chores that they can do – you don’t have to do it all, and you’re not supposed to. They need your love and nurturing, but they also need to learn independence and how to contribute to the household. Even a toddler can learn to clean up their toys at the end of the day, especially if you make it fun!
Working, parenting, self-development, however this energy shows up in your life, take a closer look to see what needs dropping and what needs more attention. Break out a pad and pen and dig in!
