Today’s Message From the Universe reminds you that you’re perfect just the way you are.

You are more than enough and never too much; perfect just the way you are. We all need different levels of attention and affection from others and those needs will change for each of us throughout the years.

Your most important relationship is with yourself, once you prioritize that relationship, all your other relationships will improve.

When you dive into personal development and spirituality, you are not changing yourself to become more palatable to others. You are not even changing yourself to become a better you. You are changing to unbecome all that others told you you were supposed to be.

You learn to accept and love yourself as you are.

The changes you make are meant to improve your relationship with yourself and create a life that fits you instead of trying to fit into what you or others think you should be. Loving yourself doesn’t feel like falling in love with another person. It’s not about somehow thinking you’re flawless or meeting some ridiculous beauty or productivity standard.

Loving yourself is about prioritizing your peace and well-being.

It’s about learning to say “no” to the people who walk all over you and finding all the things that fill your cup. It’s learning to understand where behaviors like self-sabotage come from and experimenting with ways to heal those wounded parts.

Take some time this week to think about some of your harmful patterns and beliefs with an open mind. Don’t put yourself down for having these issues, we all have them! Have some compassion for the person you are and were. You did the best you could with the cards you were dealt but you may have forgotten that you can draw more cards to improve your hand.
