A Message from the Universe ~ Time for a Tuneup!
Today’s Message from the Universe advises you to assess your energy.
This is probably one of the single most helpful things that has become a regular part of my life. Learning to observe and manage your energy is a practice that improves every last part of your life.
We are always growing and, if you’re reading this, you are likely trying to improve your life through personal growth and spirituality. Those two things go hand in hand.
The problem is that many of us have a tendency to keep pushing for growth and improvement without a thought for the physical and mental energy, or bandwidth, available to us. Too much of even the good things can lead to burnout, and feeling scattered or diffused.
Take some time today to think about where all your energy is going and how well you allow yourself to replenish that energy. Break out the pen and paper to write everything down, you’re going to take a good look at the things that drain you.
Write down what drains you and what you can do about it.
Are there people in your life who make you feel drained or even irritated whenever you talk to them?
Some might need to be cut off, but many will just need you to set boundaries for how much time is spent with them and how you allow them to treat you.
Maybe you need to work a little smarter instead of harder at both work and home tasks.
This one might take a little extra effort, sometimes a lot of extra effort, but it will save you a lot of time and headaches as soon as you work through it.
Cut out the unnecessary and create systems, processes and routines for yourself that will help you to be more efficient with your obligations. You might also benefit by researching how to be more efficient and set up systems.
You could even just be spinning out on a passion project or hobby or have to set some boundaries with a new love connection.
Your passion project, whether human or creative, will only be better if you are well-rested and refreshed.
The things that drain you aren’t necessarily bad.
They just need boundaries and you need quality downtime to recharge on a daily basis. I don’t have to tell you what quality downtime looks like for you, and it will be different for everybody.
However, one thing that sticks out to me is writing out problems and plans before you settle in for that downtime. It’s not quality downtime if your mind is spinning on these things and writing them down helps your brain to process them in a more helpful way.
Set aside some time to work through these things and remember that this practice should be done on a regular basis to maintain your energy flow and overall wellbeing!
