Today’s Message from the Universe reminds you that vulnerability is necessary for all great things.

There is definitely a romantic slant to this message but will certainly apply to other areas for some.
You may be in a situation that brings up big fear based on previous experience or you may have built walls around your heart to avoid the pain you never want to experience again. It’s also possible that you want to give up or avoid some other situation that has brought plenty of rejection to your heart.

Whatever your situation, avoidance will only keep you from a feeling of fulfillment that can come with putting yourself out there.

Stephen King comes to mind…not the way that you’re thinking though. When he was young, his stories were rejected, one after another for a very long time. Rather than letting these rejections cause him to slow down or give up, he collected them and doubled down on his determination.

Rejection is just part of the process but every rejection is an opportunity to learn from and/or refuel your efforts. Everybody experiences rejection from time to time and there are points in your life or things you’re doing, like job seeking, where rejection often seems to be the natural state.

It’s easy to let rejection knock you down and even cause despair. Knowing that rejection is part of the process makes it much easier to deal with. There are so many people and situations that just don’t vibe with you and that’s ok! Everybody has different needs, desires, and tastes, keep going and you will find the people, places, and things that are just perfect for you.

Remember, rejection is protection!
