Today’s Message From the Universe brings tidings of awakening and renewal – sunny skies ahead!
What a perfect message for a warm and sunny day! It’s been a long, cold winter for us here in the Northeast US, especially since our winters have been quite mild for the past several years. Just yesterday I had to turn on my little heater throughout the day, but today is (finally!!) warm enough for me to throw my windows wide open!
Obviously, not everyone is experiencing such nice weather today, and there’s a good chance the weather might not be so nice for me on the day this message will be posted. BUT this is about so much more than weather!
This is about coming into the light after months or even years of shadow, an emergence from a time of turning inward and embodying the hermit that lies within each of us. Even those of you who haven’t been introverting are likely to see a shift in how you show up in the world.
This is rebirth and awakening!
We are always changing and growing, reinventing and learning, but this is big! I feel as if this is a shift that is clearing out so much stuck energy that we’ve been experiencing for a very long time. We are shedding our proverbial skin and emerging with a shiny new one.
Use this time to declutter both physical and mental spaces, and don’t forget that schedule! Get rid of all those things that no longer align with who you are or no longer “spark joy.” Have yourself a good brain dump and hand back responsibilities and feelings that are not yours to bear.
We’re not just releasing, though! We’re visualizing our goals and dreams, trying new things, and finally beginning to implement processes and projects that we’ve been considering or planning for some time.
This is also an excellent time to reinvent your physical appearance as well. I know it sounds rather ego-centric, but what we do with our physical appearance can have a great effect on how we feel and vice versa. Chop your hair, wear something colorful, or change up your style altogether.
That thing you always wanted to wear but felt too weird to actualy wear? Wear it! That pretty lipstick you were never quite bold enough to wear in public? Give it a try! Sure, it will probably be a little uncomfortable at first, but our comfort zone is not the place for us to be right now!
