Spiritual and practical guidance for the week ahead, or whenever you happen to see this đ

Todayâs Message From the Universe reminds you that chasing inspiration often pushes it farther away. Sometimes you have to give yourself a little love to help inspiration find you and put it to good use!
Inspiration seems to be the most prominent when something big happens, such as a heartbreak, a new love, or a big decision, but you donât have to be experiencing the extreme to access your inspiration.
There are a few things that may help you get back into flow, but first and most importantly, you must prepare the vessel!
The Cleanse
Fear and overwhelm can be great motivators, but they can also paralyze you, especially when paired with exhaustion or aimless busy-work. Sometimes the inspiration itself can be overwhelming, leaving you scattered and unsure of where to even begin!
Step away from what youâre trying to do and give yourself a much-needed break! Take a shower, go for a walk, and aim for a good sleep if you can. Everything comes easier to a rested body and mind! You might try a brain dump before bed to help avoid those racing thoughts, or even watch one of your favorite movies to bring a little comfort.
This night is for comfort and refreshing things, and answers often come to us when we sleep. Thereâs good reason why âsleeping on itâ is such a well-used phrase!
The Warmup
Now that youâve given yourself a little love, you can approach this thing with a fresh brain and possibly a lot less stress. Take a few moments to center yourself with some deep breathing and reconnect to your heartspace.
Place your hand over your heart, and think of 3 things you are grateful for. This is a great time to remember your âwhy,â visualize your dream, and/or connect with the feeling you want to experience. Of course, it might be nice to hold a favorite crystal or meaningful memento with your other hand.
Now that youâve connected to your heartspace, keep your hands where they are, hold that feeling, and do some deep breathing exercises:
Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, and exhale for 8. You can repeat this for a total of 3 reps, or keep going until you feel centered.
Get âer Done!
- Intimidated by that blank page or canvas?
Start with a totally crap sentence or aimless stroke! Donât even aim for good, just get rid of that blank space. You might write an entire page of crap or doodle with whatever medium youâre using – I frequently doodle with wire.
You can edit your words, and even scribbles can create happy accidents! Just the act of doing, even badly, can shift your brain into a more creative space. - Overwhelmed by ideas?
If you didnât do a brain dump last night, then you should definitely do this now! Get all those ideas out of your head so you can do something with them! Just the act of writing them down helps your brain to process them differently.
Pick your favorites, cross out the fluff, and work out things like priority, steps, and timing. I did this last week and found it helpful to list and work things out digitally after I worked out most of the details on paper. - Trying to work out a solution to a tough problem?
This is another thing that might be helped by a brain dump if you havenât already done it yet. If you have answers buried somewhere in your head, this will help to bring them out.
However, I think that you also need new information. Research might be helpful here, but it can also contribute to uncertainty or confusion in this case. Look into or talk to others who have been through similar experiences, and donât underestimate the helpfulness of AI with such things!
AI has its issues, and you have to double-check any information it gives you, but it can be a great tool for helping you to problem-solve and find resources you would never have considered otherwise. - Uninspired with life, in general?
I know it doesnât feel like it right now, but what a beautiful place to be! This is your opportunity to create the life you want instead of just existing in the life you were given. Life is meant to be lived!
Take this moment to dream. Think about what your life could look like if you had no limitations. What would you do? Who would you be? Donât just visualize it, feel it! Now, realize that your limitations are rarely as limiting as you perceive them to be. They are challenging, yes, but they are also catalysts and opportunities to think in a different way!
Do a deep dive on or spend time with people who live life in a way that seems wonderful to you. Listen to music that pumps you up, create a vision board, and make a plan! You are the architect of your life!
However this energy shows up for youâŚ
Intention and flow are whatâs needed right now, not harsh thoughts and strained actions. Take care of your mind, body, and spirit so you can return to your task with a fresh mind.
Keep growing and healing, Beautiful Soul, and donât let anyone dim your sparkle! đ

Pingback:Build from the Heart: A Message From the Universe
I so agree! I have been doing a lot of breathing exercises. I found myself getting in to a negative mode more often that I would want, especially driving! So, I am practicing breathing to get myself tuned up a bit! Great reinforcement here today Trish!
