It’s Time to Start Standing Up for Yourself

The Warrior appears when we need to stand up for ourselves or others.

It’s time now to stop shrinking yourself in order to avoid confrontation. Some things need to be confronted and some people need to understand that their behavior is not going to be tolerated any longer.

Ask them what they mean when they imply something crude or hurtful so they have to explain themselves. Tell them you won’t tolerate their disrespect. Let them know you are not someone they can bully or someone who will stand by as they bully someone else.

I know this isn’t an easy thing to do for most.

We’re raised to try to keep the peace but allowing this behavior is not peaceful in any way. As with most things, the more you assert yourself the easier it becomes.

It’s time to start empowering yourself. Peace happens when you feel safe and surrounded by those who support you.
