Today’s Message From the Universe reminds you to ride the wave of change rather than trying to swim against it.
The wheel of life is always turning, whether you want it to or not. We have mental cycles, reproductive cycles, even civilizations have a natural life cycle. Difficult times don’t last anymore than the good times, though it can be easy to feel otherwise.
How you dance with change has a huge impact on how difficult it is for you.
I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but we could all do with frequent reminders: the more you fight it, the harder it will be to get to the other side of it. There is always a bit of learning and acclimating to do when stepping into something new, especially if YOU are what’s new!
Remember, perspective is everything! If you tell yourself how awful this is, it will continue to be awful. If you accept what’s happening and see it from a perspective of hope and curiosity, you might just be surprised at how wonderful it feels, even though you feel out of your element at first.
If you’re experiencing mental, reproductive, or other personal cycles…
The key to dancing with them is to try to learn your early warning signs or triggers.
Catching them early can make them much easier to deal with. Maybe you can adjust your schedule a bit, cancel that thing you didn’t want to go to anyway, or allow yourself to “slack” a little on your domestic chores. Create a list of things to do or remember that make you feel lighter, and use them at the first sign of an impending down-cycle.
If you’re at a point in your life where you are realizing you don’t really know who you are or what you want anymore…
This is such an incredible place to be!! While this can happen at any time and even many times, this is something that always seems to come up at midlife and is usually called a “crisis.” Here’s the thing, though, it’s not a crisis at all…unless you see it that way.
This is a time in your life when you are coming to understand all the ways in which you’ve lived your life according to others’ beliefs or demands. You have learned what doesn’t work for you, and it’s time to discover what does! You get to create a life that aligns with you rather than trying to fit into a life you thought you should be living.
That thing you always envied others for doing? Those bucket list items that may have otherwise remained only on a list? It’s time to do them and figure out the steps that will get you to what you’re currently unable to do.
Experiment with anything that interests you and leave your perfectionist habits at the door. Doing new things means you will probably suck at them for a while, even those who are gifted still have to spend time learning and practicing.
If you’re struggling with the current state of the world…
You’re not alone! Of course, you want to stay informed, but you have to limit the time you spend on such things and balance them out with hefty doses of self-care.
Bad things are always happening, but so are good things! While we may feel awful about current events, and we should, I believe a lot of the biggest issues we’ve created in humanity’s time on this planet are fast becoming outdated. It’s only natural for them to get louder and more awful as they scramble to stay alive.
A new age is dawning, my friends, and we get to be here to help usher it in!
Love your neighbor AND yourself! Give without expectation of reciprocation! Take up space and broadcast your light so others can find it and rekindle their own! Together, we are creating something beautiful 💙

Ah, it feels like you wrote this for me! Great advice and help, still trying to find the right path right now in this volatile world of ours, to write, to travel, to create, are all changing a bit for me and trying to figure out what’s best.
