So today’s Message From the Universe is about struggle and abundance, and it’s a little different from my norm. While I always channel these messages, they mostly come through in a time of my choosing, based on cards I pull. I get a good but light mix of the “clairs” as well.

This channeling came at me today because I was upset, and it was the strongest message I have ever received.

Some background on why I was upset/the reason for the message:

Here in the US, the government decided that it was going to stop funds that 42 million people were depending on in order to eat next month.

I am one of those people.

Now, I am upset for myself but I’m beyond blessed with a good support system. Words cannot express what I am feeling right now for so many others who are not so blessed.

The Message

I was told that I am the message from the universe, and so are you.

The channeled words:

“Being poor, the struggle – it doesn’t negate the abundance, they exist in tandem, a dance, growing and swelling. building into real movement. This is how you experience just how wonderful something truly feels – the relief of a helping hand when all hope was lost, the power of a community that shuts down a nefarious actor, the kind and fun love after so much pain and disappointment.

There’s a power, at these times, that rises from within at the same time that it beams on and through us from without. The power of gratitude and, often before that, the fear and rage and despair – we need that. If we don’t have that, nothing changes.”

More on this message

The thing that upset me is one thing in a world full of things. All the things come to the same two things when you think about it, though – power and community.

All the power on the entire planet is concentrated in so few people.

We have the ability now to communicate and organize in a way that wasn’t possible to us even thirty years ago. Let’s make use of it while we have it, but let’s also get back out into our communities!

Small can be big too!

We don’t all have the capacity to be active in the ways that we would like, and that’s ok! We don’t always realize just how far something so seemingly small as a few words, a few hours, or even a few phone calls can be.

Self-care is still a priority!

While it’s important to feel for our sisters and brothers and others, we can’t live in a constant state of pain and fear. Easier said than done, believe me, I know! Not taking care of your mental and physical health will only make things worse. I know this from personal experience. Here’s a list of 99 Self-Care Activities You Can Try Right Now.

If you’re in the US and struggling, you can call 211 for help to find resources in your area. If you have any resources to share or organizations that need new members, please share them in the comments!!

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do know this: all our solutions to problems big and small lie in our ability to support each other. These insane power structures depend on our fear, isolation, and hopelessness. Do not just hand it to them! The survival of the fittest is a lie; it’s the pack that thrives!

  1. It breaks my heart to see people in power take away from those that need the most help as they redecorate their “House”. I am hoping for a good change! Keep on writing and sharing!

    • It’s a crazy thing to see! Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! I am also hoping for a good change and believe many are in the works đź’™

  2. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Grace!
It all almost seems like a farce, or like we just slipped onto the outskirts of reality. I keep reminding myself that these are catalysts and we’re apparently very slow to kindle.
I am fortunately safe and loved in the home of a large family that is both stable and understanding.
Thank you again, hopefully my country will someday soon become the become of hope it once thought it was.

  3. A powerful and timely message, Trish. It’s hard to fathom the cruelty of the current US administration, but you’re right about it giving everyone opportunities to come together in community. Love is the antidote to fear, and we need it more than ever. May you be blessed with everything you need. đź’ś
