We try so hard to be reasonable and practical sometimes that we forget the importance of things that make our hearts smile. These are things that give our life true quality.

As in all things, it is advisable to strike a balance here. Instead of letting it create a battlefield in your brain, allow yourself to persue your passions while your practical side creates healthy boundaries. Too much logic in this case leaves us unfulfilled while not enough may lead to obsession and create havoc in the areas of our lives that require our practical attention.

There are so many facets to who you are. Instead of trying to lock the more “troublesome” pieces away, bring them into the light and integrate them. Wholeness is achieved when we accept all our pieces and learn to make them work together.
