A Message from the Universe – Blackbird
The blackbird reminds us that we are not just physical beings.
We spend so much time trying to keep up with our physical responsibilities that we can easily neglect the inner work that needs doing. However, doing that inner work greatly affects our physical lives.
A lot of you are trying to do the work and may just need a reminder to make it a daily habit. However, this message is coming through very strong for those who don’t believe in anything we’re unable to measure using the scientific method or those who are struggling with their beliefs. I’m reminded of those with addiction issues who may struggle with 12 step programs because of the focus on a higher power.
A higher power can be nature or the universe, it can be the best version of ourselves or it can be completely undefined. I was raised a Christian and really struggled with my belief systems as a young adult. I studied and observed a lot of different religions and came to the conclusion that they’re all boxes man has made to try to define what he cannot understand.
Some may even receive messages, from the great unknown, it’s not for me to judge another’s truth, but they can only interpret those messages from the perspective of what they’re familiar with.
The advice of this card is to accept that what we know is infinitely less than what we don’t know and to work a lot more with that unknown within ourselves. A lot of this work can be done within the realm of psychology, working on your shadow self and all that, but it’s greatly enhanced by having something bigger than ourselves to work with.
Each of our paths is different so what works for one may not work for another. Regarding myself, I work with energy. From the tiniest of microorganisms to the ever-expanding universe, everything is energy, our wishes and prayers are an exchange of those energies.
I can’t tell you for certain where my clairvoyant dreams come from and I don’t really know how I know certain things that come to me, but they exist in my world just the same. Letting go of my need to pinpoint their origin has only improved my skills.
Do yourself a favor and let go of the need to know with your mind that which can only be known through your heart.
