Everybody’s journey to self knowledge and/or spirit is unique so don’t cling too tightly to the experiences and paths that others have tread. As with just about anything, what works for one may not work for another. There are so many facets to who we are and what we’re learning that the possibilities really are endless.
The above quote really says it all so maybe I’ll just share a little of my own experience with his matter.
I have a gift for sensing and manipulating energies. Looking back, I can see that I superficially made use of this talent without even thinking about it, though I am just now really “discovering” this part of myself.
As I started studying Reiki it really hit home and I felt my truth, but further into it didn’t feel quite right to me so I kept what resonated and am now looking into what other modalities have to teach me. At the same time I am just “playing” with it to see what I can feel beyond what I’m learning.
I’ve been doing tarot and other forms of divination for decades and learned that no matter the symbolism or what the card is supposed to mean, sometimes something entirely different pops into my head and that’s what I have to go with.

A Message from the Universe – Your home is not a physical structure, or even the people who you surround yourself with. You are your home and all the details of your life are the bricks and mortar used to build it.
The fact is, things are only just starting to get uncomfortable on a material level as businesses close their doors and people who’ve struggled living paycheck to paycheck now may not even know when the next paycheck is coming.
A lot of you are working yourselves up over the possibility that you may find yourself homeless before too long. While that is indeed a logical fear, it’s also something you have little to no control over at this point in time so try to focus your energy on preparing for leaner times.
Know that there likely will be programs or charities that can aid you and don’t be too proud to seek them out, but don’t place all your eggs in that basket either. You have a universe of knowledge and opportunity at your fingertips and now more than ever is the time to take advantage of that. You don’t have to map out your exact path, just explore, create, and experiment. By doing these things with an open mind you can decide what works for you and what doesn’t as you go. I guarantee you that whatever skills you’ve developed for your career in “normal” life can be applied to so much more than you thought.
It’s not going to be easy but I guarantee it will help you breathe a little easier because you will have far more control over your security. Chances are you will remain on that path even when the world opens up again because your previous path did not fit quite so well.

A Message from the Universe – Opening to Love
We chase it, we fear it, it gives meaning to life and overpowers our logic. We imprint it’s otherworldly qualities onto ordinary people and withhold its real magic from ourselves. It is the most beautiful and maddening thing there is out there.
You may think you are wide open while you chase down romantic love and bleed with loneliness but you are blocking the everyday love that will nourish you and lead you to bringing the right kind of people into your life.
Of course it doesn’t feel like you’re blocking it because you still love your family and friends even though they don’t fill that particular void. You may even smother them a bit, trying to distract yourself from that void but you’re only keeping yourself from your peace because you’re afraid of the pain that comes before that peace can be achieved.
I don’t write this because I read it somewhere, I write this because I’ve experienced it. I’ve sacrificed my self worth for love that was not returned. Never measuring up in the eyes of my mother and ever after struggling to be enough in both romantic and platonic relationships. Hell, I still struggle with my self worth at times because not only does it require the initial setup, consistent maintenance is vital.
I think the key with love, both internal and external is the same as just about everything else in life. You have to really emphasise your gratitude with what you have and leave the rest to the universe. The best place to start is with yourself. Stop focusing all your energy on the things you don’t have and don’t like about yourself and let your brightness shine through.
