“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” It’s a cliché because it’s true. You can be the sweetest, juiciest peach on the planet but there are plenty of people who just don’t like peaches. The person who most needs to see how beautiful you are is YOU. Everyone you’ve loved in your life has had plenty of “flaws” both inside and on the surface. Did that stop you from thinking they were beautiful? Didn’t you love them even more when they were brave enough to be vulnerable and share parts of themselves they didn’t like?

You are beautiful, flaws and all. People love the whole package that is you. Those who put you down or pick at your flaws are douchebags and not people who you want in your life. If you allow someone in, they should help to build you up. It’s your job now to stop being a douchebag to yourself then find all the wonderful, beautiful things about you so you can build them up. The more you choose to be kind and compassionate with yourself, the more you call in people who will do the same.

This is even more important if you have kids or others that look up to you. Let your words and actions show them how they should treat themselves and how to set boundaries for how they allow others to treat them. Let’s stop playing the game of letting people, media, and society, in general, make us feel like we are not enough. You are so much more than enough! Now get to work on making yourself feel and believe it! Start off with a chakra meditation and/or cleansing ritual, make a list of the things that you like or love about yourself, then go all in on affirmations and self-talk at least once a day.

Loving yourself is a choice you make in every moment, the more you choose to be kind to yourself, the easier it gets ????
