A Message from the Universe ~ On Horses and Water

Today’s Message from the Universe reminds you that wisdom is often silent.

Every thing and every person grows at their own rate and we all have to tread our own paths. You may have someone in your life who is on a path you know will be quite difficult for them. You probably want to help them get on the right path or do things that might make their path a little easier. “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink” as the saying goes.

It can be helpful to drop some wisdom on them in a careful and non-threatening way but sometimes you just have to plant a seed and hope that it grows. For many people, sharing your wisdom might only bring out their rebellious side and make them defensive. Sometimes you just have to let them know you’re there if you need them and then let them be.

Sometimes the hard way is necessary for someone to understand things they might not get if they took the easy route. You cannot walk their path for them, only lend support and set your own boundaries as needed.
