A Message from the Universe ~ Time for Some Fun!

Today’s Message from the Universe indicates a need for a little fun!

You’ve been hard at work for such a long time. Between financial pursuits and spiritual growth, it can be easy to neglect that wild child within. I am no exception! Sometimes I feel like I might have entirely forgotten how to let loose.

There’s also the chance that you might no longer enjoy the same kind of fun you used to have. That is to be expected when you’ve brought about so much change within and without. Again, I’m right there with you!

Now, there are plenty of you who just need a night out with your crew but I’ve got a few suggestions if you’re not sure what to do. Before I offer these suggestions, I have a few criteria that I think we should aim for:

1. Laugh as much as possible
2. Move that body
3. Get you some nature
4. Include at least one other person

Of course, all these criteria will be based on your circumstances and capabilities so don’t view them as rules, just suggestions to get the best playtime.

Here are some activities that come to mind:

1. Dancing – I once took a ballroom dancing course and it was so much fun that I would really love to do that again. No money or no place to go? Dance in your kitchen by your lonesome or force the kids to dance with you!

2. Outdoor games and activities – You could do any sport-ish thing, play cornhole, even a game of tag if you’ve got kids. By yourself? Walk, run, skate, garden. Think of what you used to do outside as a kid and give it a try as an adult 🙂

3. Initiate a game night with family or friends to keep the fun coming on a regular basis. You could even do a paint and sip at home or other similar creative activity.

4. Try something new – The learning process is often packed with laughter, especially if you’re learning with others.

5. Become a tourist in your hometown or surrounding towns. We miss a lot when it’s just always been there!
