You are Abundant! – Lakshmi

Published by Trish Nonya on

You don’t have to live in abject poverty to understand the state of mind that comes from always worrying about not having enough. This is a tough mindframe to get out of.

Even when we find ourselves in a better financial situation we might find that we cling too tightly to what we’ve earned or blow through it for reasons we do not understand. It is this mindset that becomes the biggest obstacle to our stability.

This mindset is fear based and therefore prevents us from seeing better opportunities as well as the abundance all around and within us. We doubt ourselves and believe the worst of the world we live in. We lack appreciation for what we do have, straining our relationships and darkening what could be truly happy moments.

It is always a good time to count your blessings but never more so than when you want to get out of this mindset. Abundance is not money. It is recognition of and gratitude for all that is good in your life. Money is a welcome side-effect of abundance but the real benefit is a state of mind that allows you to be happy and grateful even when the going gets tough. Make it a habit to count your blessings every day, and even more on the rough days.
