Today’s Message from the Universe advises you to shift your focus.
You are not just a mother or father, someone’s child or sibling. You are not what you do or even what you create. You are all these things and so much more!
You are beautiful and flawed, a student and a teacher, a lover and a leaver. You are your dreams as well as the crusher of your dreams.
You are that fearful and doubting voice in your head but you are also the you that observes that voice and deems it only one voice of many.
If you’ve been focusing a little too hard on a flaw or mistake, whether it be your own or someone else’s, there is a need to redirect that focus.
Take a good look at all that is good about you or this other person or situation. Find the beauty that blossoms under your care instead of the dark spots that grow into monsters because you can’t stop poking them.
You can’t change other people and there will always be situations beyond your control. However, you can choose whether you’d like to use your energy to grow the good stuff or remain frustrated by and fixated on something that only becomes a monster because you feed it. It’s the difference between being irritated and being consumed.
I want to make it understood that there are plenty of people and situations that should be removed from your life altogether. If the negative outweighs the positive then your advice is to shift your focus to your needs and desires. Start making your way to where you truly want to be!
