A Message from the Universe ~ Rejection is Protection
Today’s Message from the Universe is gently reminding you trust.
You might feel as if you’ve missed your boat. Maybe you applied for new employment but didn’t get the job or saw the perfect place to live but were denied. That person you wanted to be a part of your life, that dream you’ve had since childhood, that medical issue that seemed to throw your whole life into uncertainty.
Whatever it is you feel you’ve missed, today’s message is reminding you that rejection is protection. We want the things we’re supposed to want and sometimes we have wanted something for so long that we don’t even realize that we grew out of it a long time ago.
This is a good time to examine what it is that you didn’t get and why you wanted it in the first place. Many “whys” are pretty easy to spot like needing to meet our basic human needs such as food, shelter, and companionship. However, even the simple “whys” often have better questions that lie beneath.
Yes, you need an income to live, but do you need to keep your efforts focused on the same industry? You might try applying for places and positions that peak your interest but make you feel like you don’t have what is needed to do it. Do it anyway! The worst that can happen is that you don’t get the job. You might even decide to strike out on your own. It can be pretty scary not getting that paycheck you think is secure. Spend enough time working for anybody and you will realize that paycheck is not guarantied. That business could close or a new staff member could come in that makes you dread going to work every day.
Let’s talk about that person you wanted so much to be in your life. If you look hard enough, I think that you will find that person was already making you feel somehow not enough. You had to adjust yourself to please them instead of the both of you enjoying each other for just who they are. You probably even saw this person much differently than what they actually were.
However this energy of rejection shows up in your life, there is a need to trust that you will have what you need when you need it and so much more when you allow it to come to you as is. Whatever your higher power may be, including your vision of your future self, it’s time to work on actually believing you’ve got someone in your corner protecting you from yourself.
Everything really does work out in the end and all roads lead home 💙
