A Message from the Universe ~ Your Worst Enemy
Today’s Message from the Universe is all about breaking free of our self-imposed limitations.
“I can’t”, “I’ll try but…”, “I should”, “I’m not good at that”, “but I’ve always”…
There are probably an infinite number of thoughts and phrases we use to keep ourselves small and/or “safe.” This message is about recognizing those thoughts and phrases in order to debunk them and replace them with words like “I can” and “I am.” Let’s “try” without the “but” and do some things differently than you’re accustomed to. Let’s remember that nobody starts out good at anything and most creations are ugly before time and detail are applied.
We are our own worst enemies and we’re all in different stages of un-becoming the enemy. For some, this is simply acknowledging how far you’ve come while reminding you that this sort of thing needs maintenance. For others, this message is urging you to break free from those thought patterns. Just recognizing them will help you to be rid of them.
Write down all the limiting thoughts that are currently keeping you small then write down at least one positive phrase to replace each of them, even if you don’t quite believe them yet. Repetition will help help you to believe and talking to someone close to you may help during the times when you may feel particularly vulnerable.
You are so much more than you give yourself credit for so let’s start seeing all of the wonderful things you are and all the great things you can be 💙
